Seriously? Someone should have told me. When I was younger I had no sense of fashion (whereas now CLEARLY I'm sort of akin to Nicole Richie). As a kid I just wore whatever the "h" I wanted. I liked dogs? easy... dog shirt... NAILED IT! Oh I like pooh bear? Why not wear pooh AND all his friends... NAILED IT!! Oh like that country music song on the radio? Well naturally wear a fake leather vest and a bolo tie (fact)..... This mentality for fashion lasted embarrassingly long into my older childhood.
Through a combination of my mom's parenting style of letting me be a free spirit / live my own life, and my size / inability to wear normal kid clothes my fashion suffered (understatement).
Because of that we are left with photos like the one featured below.
