Supa-Fly

Today I was thinking about my musical preferences which lack sophistication to say the least. When Avril Lavigne and Rascal Flatts are at the top of your "most played" list (fact), your musical palette leaves something to be desired.

More recently I've discovered a wide gap in genre is weaseling itself into my iPod. When I scroll through my playlists it is the worlds most horrible mix between Tween Disney Pop and grungy, obscenely descriptive rap. One second Selena Gomez is singing about being perfect just the way you are and then next song is Ludacris or Chris Brown.

The problem isn't that either of these genres are good or bad... The only thing I don't understand is how I can be running on the treadmill and JAMMING (with hand dancing) to hipster tween music one second and JAMMING (with hand dancing) to "I just want to see you strip" the next second....

Maybe its supposed to be like that? "Who says you're not perfect" when you're "stripping because it late girl"?... who knows... maybe I'll just go back to listening to country exclusively.

(please don't think I'm endorsing rap... I just like those sweet, sweet beats)...

  1. Yeah.... You're kind of a unique individual. "Special" is how I would phrase it. Maybe do some maroon 5 and mins too. Those are my jams.
