90 Day Challenge : 3 Days

If you are like me I get really motivated to lose weight and get fit, but then I lose steam. The first day that I skip the gym, or go crazy on a bag of pretzels I'm ready to throw in the towel. I also have a bad habit of making one bad nutrition/exercise decision and giving up for the day and starting again tomorrow.

Together, let's abolish those tendencies and stay true to our goals. When a bad decisions happens (which they sometimes do), STAY THE COURSE. One cupcake, or one skipped trip to the gym does not equal long-term failure.


I've found from experience it only takes 3 days to change your eating habits. It takes 3 hard days of strict eating to reform my cravings for extra food. After a hard three days it gets easier. After a week it won't be hard at all!

Moral of the story: if you got off track this weekend, that's ok! Start again. Don't start tomorrow. Start right now!

We almost have one week down. How are you doing?

  1. I made goals to drink enough water (which according to my research is at least 100 ounces, 125 if I'm working out that day) and to go to the gym at least 3 times a week. It just isn't going to happen every day for me. I figure if I start there, with eating reasonably, I should get where I want. You are inspiring to me so keep it up! :)

  2. I'm pretty sure I'm actually gaining weight, so that seems like a step backwards to me. I'll try harder.
