This is going to require a little bit of imagination, but let's say today is January 1st. I was in a nightmarish/super adventure the last 24 hours traveling back from the holidays. So today is imaginary January first... just go with it...
It's officially 2014... For some reason I'm extra excited about this year. It could be that I can't wait to be 27 (that is probably not it), the anticipation of watching Kansas State hoops in March, season 4 of Downton Abbey, or some big weddings on the horizon, but regardless of the reason, I'm stoked to see what 2014 has in store.
Part of the reason I'm pumped to start this year is to begin a 90 day challenge. I've been thinking about doing this for a long time and I decided that a new year would be the best time to make this happen. Join if you want or sit back and watch, either way, this is going to be a wild 3 months.
Cliff notes explanation: Since I started college I've been focused on getting fit and staying healthy. Losing weight has been a motivator, but really the destination has always been to live a healthy life. I hate to call this a "diet," think of it as a jumpstart into a lifestyle improvement. I have some serious fitness goals for 2014, and if you have similar goals, let's achieve them together.
My 90 day goals:
-lose 25lbs (about 2 lbs a week)
-get in half marathon shape for some early spring races
-tone tone tone
So this is the plan. I'm going to post what I'm doing. This will include : things I'm trying, techniques I'm using, exercises I'm doing, and things I'm eating. ALSO, I'm going to have guest bloggers post what they are doing (if you want in, let me know)! No matter what road you're starting on, just make sure to start. Let's do this! Let the 90 day challenge begin (I mean, technically yesterday… oops).
